Furniture

Our manufacturing process uses a Polyol/MDI system giving the foam a feeling of both resilience and comfort only associated with a high quality CMHR moulding. These properties will in turn benefit both the appearance and appeal of our customers own finished product.

We have the capability to mould steel frames/plastic and plywood inserts on backs and seats.

Interfoam offers a range of seat and back mouldings fitting plastic and plywood components for manufactures of office seating. These are normally delivered 5-7 days from order. Additionally, the opportunity to tool up for your own 'bespoke' seats and backs, enabling you to stylise your own exclusive range of chairs.

Hardness can be varied whilst maintaining the integrity of a high density foam enabling the sit to be tailored to your specific needs/design.

Domestic Furniture Cushions

Interfoam is now able to supply large moulded foam cushions for domestic furniture, i.e. sofas, etc. These are manufactured in Combustion Modified High Resilience Foam and can be supplied with stockinette wrap.

Automotive

Interfoam occupies an enviable position in the supply of quality automotive foam mouldings. We offer a personable flexible service ensuring attention to detail, whilst being able to accommodate escalating demands placed upon suppliers in this sector of the market

We have valuable experience as a Tier 1 supplier into automotive markets, working with our clients in all aspects of the business from the initial idea and concept, through to accommodating JIT schedules.

• Mouldings can incorporate Metal, Reconfoam, Wire, Reinforcing Fabrics and Plastic inserts.
• Parts can be produced from Glass Fibre and/or Aluminium tooling.
• High and low volume automotive production catered for.

Interfoam are experts in the manufacture of high quality integral skin, semi-rigid and rigid moulded foam parts for use within the aircraft, automotive and furniture industries

Intergral Skin Mouldings

Parts manufactured using integral skin foam systems are by design tough, durable and resilient. Interfoam can manufacture mouldings in various colours to meet customer or industry specifications / standards.

With the ability to source a range of inserts, Interfoam can supply a complete product package.

Skin and Foam (Vacuum Forming)

We have the facility to mould PVC/fabric in place given an upholstered unit on de-mould. This product can be used on various seat designs and applications.

Memory Foam, Mobility and Medical Products

Parts are manufactured in memory foam for use as orthopaedic pillows and wheel chair seat cushions. Moulded foam parts provide support and comfort by design.

Tooling

Our in-house tooling department ensures that we have full control of quality, cost and lead times which will enable us to meet the stringent requirements of our customers across the seating industry.

Some of the benefits of 'in-house tooling':

• Direct control over the work and lead times.
• Pattern and Model worked in wood or resin-board can be viewed at our premises with minor alterations done whilst you wait.
• Tools are built to Interfoam's own high standard for ease of production and outstanding durability.

We can offer Resin, Silicone Rubber, Machined Aluminium, Cast Aluminium and GRP tooling either at Interfoam or via approved subcontractors.

Our tooling department can manufacture models, paterns and tooling from the full spectrum of data sources, ranging from a simple sketch to a fully formatted CAD drawing. We often work with other tooling companies to ensure we achieve our goals.
