Interfoam Limited started trading in 1992 and is now one of the major PU moulders in the UK.
Interfoam Limited is accredited with BS EN ISO 9001 and maintains a strict attitude to quality control to ensure that this accreditation is maintained, with the help of our on-site laboratory.
Interfoam Limited was accredited with BS EN ISO 14001 in early 2007 and operates an environmental management system to comply with BS EN ISO 14001, view our environmental policy statement.
Primarily we are moulders of Flexible Polyurethane (PU) Foam Seating Components by the cold cure method. From our modern 47,000 sq. ft plant located in Kempston, Bedfordshire, we supply the Office and Domestic Furniture Industries, also the Aircraft, Medical, Automotive, Truck and Bus Seating Industries through our growing customer base.
We have various production lines all with modern high pressure foam dispensing machines and carousels, carrying both aluminium and resin (GRP) tooling. We also operate a prototype line for development work. 2007 sees Interfoam Limited open another new line which will enable us to have more capacity and flexibility.
Self skinning foam, semi-rigid and rigid foam for aircraft armcaps, trays and grab handles are produced from our various production stations in our Special Products Division. Tooling for this type of work can be resin (GRP), alloy or etched steel, depending on the standard of surface finish required.
Interfoam Limited uses its own fleet of trucks to deliver to customers nationwide promptly and efficiently. |
